My fixed pick bin keeps running dry during picking. Where exactly do I configure replenishment so it triggers automatically?
searching the EWM knowledge base

Automatic replenishment is switched on per storage type, not per material — that is the part most people look for in the wrong place.

/SCWM/MAT1/SCWM/BINMAT

Fixed bin assignment plus minimum and maximum quantities — without them the strategy has nothing to trigger on.

One thing, though — your symptom points elsewhere.

Automatic replenishment fires at warehouse task confirmation, not while a picker is standing at the bin. A bin that runs dry mid-pick is direct replenishment: strategy 4, triggered by bin denial, through an exception code mapped to internal process code REPLENISHMENT.
